Speaking of Community…

Well I’ve just recently watched this video on YouTube. I agree with each and every point that this man has made here, and I actively work to implement them all in my life. (Actually the one I probably struggle most with is No 1, looking forward rather than holding a grudge and looking backwards!) And the points made here about supporting one another are some of the reasons why I get so frustrated with members of my own community.  Instead of working with you, and promoting you, members of your own community, in fact your own family, will be the ones actively pulling you down. Seriously, do you not understand that we need to work together to build our whole community up?! And this is all the more true when your community already faces so much persecution from the wider society…

So if you find yourself inclined to jealousy, or insecurity, for crying out loud, please stop making excuses, or trying to blame the other person, admit it to yourself and deal with it!!!
